Very excited to share the news!!
It has been approved to have a fireworks show the last night of the Lake Odessa Fair!!! This is a private funded event and not funded by the Fair Association. R and W Family Fireworks of Hastings has been secured to provide a 20 minute show following the Demo Derby Sunday night. I am asking anyone that has missed this celebration and that will be as excited to see it back, we have a donation jar set up at the bakery. This is the 250th year of our country and is the perfect way to celebrate! This has always been a highlight to our town for many years and would like to see it continue! So if you could help contribute it would be very appreciated!

My 56th trip around the sun has ended, Thankful and Blessed for all of you that took time to wish me well! My wish for everyone is to experience the unwavering Love that God has for everyone through His Son Jesus Christ! I enjoyed a peaceful day doing our typical Tuesday errands. Took bakery treats to the line dance class I attend on Tuesdays at the Commission on Aging. Treated Union Bank employees in Hastings, and had a Culver's burger for lunch. Ended the day with Moo-Ville ice-cream with Julie, Nathan and Lillian and my Mom! God is good!

Life is never easy, we struggle, then we don't. We prosper then we fail. All through life we have our ups and downs but when we are Faithful and obedient, God ultimately rewards us for that!
I never would have imagined my business being where it is today, and truly I tell you, it's from God!
Working 27 years, 6days a week, never once did I ever consider being open on Sundays. So many people encouraged me to but I refused because that was an oath I vowed as a new Christian not to do. I went on the assumption that God would always provide and never give me more than I could handle. Through the years we definitely had our struggles but never wavering on my convictions, though there was a time considering closing the bakery during the recession in mid 2000's. God obviously had other plans for me. Fast forward to 2018, life was very challenging, questioned life choices, reality was getting hard to handle until finally, giving up things that I was holding on to privately thinking I was gonna handle without God's help. End of 2019, broke down and sought counciling to work out my problems with God's help to repair me and my life. People don't realize they need healing until they realize they are broken! Since then, God has Blessed me beyond measure and multiplied my business and followers and given me the platform to give Him all the Praise and Glory due Him! I have been Blessed by so many people telling me they love my witness!
We are currently going on 3000 little Jesus's that have been picked up by our front door.
People can see what a BROKEN World we live in, and I am living proof of the Living God that Blesses those who live in FAITH and are OBEDIENT to His word.
Have a Blessed Sunday and God Bless those who gave their Life and Service to this Country!
