Time is ticking!! Get your tickets for the 30th annual John Berry Christmas tour coming December 12th to Hastings Performing Arts Center! We are so excited to celebrate this accomplishment and will be our 5th year hosting them here in our local venue!
John was recently awarded the Josie award in Nashville for the 2026 Best show to see!! You won't want to miss this celebration with us here in Hastings December 12th!!

Last year we ran a contest with the Art Classes at Lakewood High School to produce for us some artwork we could use. We gave 3 students cash prizes of 1-$50 & 2-$25 prizes. We finally used one to make these stickers available at or front counter. Proceeds go to an undecided cause at this point but that will be decided.
We are trying to appeal to all interests and know how much people like stickers!

Came home with a gift of a hunk of Boxty from the Village of Leitrim from our demo of making it. The Kilronin Castle served it like this on their breakfast buffet. So I threw it in the donut fryer and it is awesome! 💚🇮🇪.
So the women have a saying that goes with it;

Boxty on the griddle,

Boxty in the pan,

If you can't make boxty,

You'll never get a man.

Although I didn't mind change, I missed my pancakes and eggs for breakfast! American Pancakes in Ireland are not the same. B&W pudding and runny baked beans from a can does not belong on the breakfast table.😂

Got up this morning and took the bus for a little last minute walking around Dublin before heading to the Airport. Bittersweet sweet feeling leaving Ireland but the bakery must go on at least for a little while. Hoping traveling is in our future in retirement someday but love my Michigan home and Family 💙✋️🇺🇸, 🇮🇪🪉

Winding our days down here in Ireland 😪🫩. To say it was an experience is an understatement!
Got to our new and last Hotel, The Clayton, checked in and hurried to the Jameson Distillery to catch a tour with a couple of extenders like us. Then walked around Dublin to see some architecture before meeting the other Myers' who Julie grew up with in Wayland that were in Ireland also at BoBo's Burgers. Got around after breakfast Sunday morning and walked 30 minutes to attend The Church of Devine Mercy of Lucas for a Mass service. Came back and bussed to the Botanical Gardens and finally walked to catch dinner with the Myers' again at the Celtic Knights Dinner show.
One final morning here and then back to reality! Hope everyone has enjoyed following along with us on this amazing journey!

So last night our daughter in law noticed Maize off by herself and today we have Uncle Sam, Sam for short, join the rest. He is our first calf out of a 2nd Bull we brought into the heard. He looks just like his Dad. Lillian says he and Liberty enjoy their Freedom cause the keep going through the fence.🤣🤣🤣
