Okay but I’m OBSESSED with this set 🤠✨
The rodeo theme had my whole heart, but this was my FIRST plaque name cookie and I cannot get over how cute it turned out!!!

Also, I know this isn’t the best picture 😅 Being a home baker while building a business AND trying to keep up with social media can feel a little chaotic sometimes. But it just means I learned something new for next time and I’ll love looking back and seeing how far I’ve come 💛

Ever wonder why you’re supposed to mix meringue powder + water before adding powdered sugar? 🤔

It’s because you’re activating the proteins first so they can fully dissolve and build structure. If you skip that step, your icing can turn out lumpy, weak, or hard to control.

Starting with meringue + water = smoother icing, better consistency, and those clean, crisp cookie details we all love ✨

And let’s be real… royal icing is NOT easy 😅
It’s picky, time consuming, and will test your patience more than once.

But don’t give up 🤍
One day it just clicks… and all that practice finally pays off 🙌

Sketching out designs to get a plan, coloring ideas, or researching packaging for upcoming shows… the work never really stops.

A baker’s job is never done & there is ALWAYS something to work on 💗
