Three years ago, I came up with an idea to sell cookies and other treats. No matter how many we made, whether for family or parties, they were always devoured. There are also very few places in the area to get fresh cookies. So, I thought, why not? I spent many years comforting others, as a registered nurse, hence the name Comfort Cookies, but am now disabled from a rare medical condition, which c

aused me to have to quit my profession for good in 2013. It took nearly three years to be approved for disability, which wiped out everything for us, financially. It was a real turning point in our lives and it has been an extremely difficult journey for the last decade. Living with disabilities and on a small, fixed income for the last 6 years has been really difficult, which is why we decided to sell our cookies. We’re happy to report that things continue looking up! We’ve had a successful first year and plan to continue offering your favorites, as well as adding some new items & flavors to our menu this year! So, stay tuned!!
