The wait is over, all this rain with afternoon sunshine is resulting in massive and sweet blackberries! We are busy picking, 6 lbs tonight alone! We are working to fill preorders and then will open up for orders and bring to the Kingston Lakeside Farmers Market!

Thank you to every single person who came out, stood in the rain with us, shared a smile, a story, or simply chose to support our little business. Quick pre work check this morning on the grapes. Real nice fruit set, and minimal disease pressure so far to start the season. Next couple weeks of rain will really plump these up well, but the disease pressure will sky rocket. Adapt and overcome! Catawba grapes, same ones we were potting up in the nursery last weekend!

So peaceful to walk through the blackberry patch.. though we could REALLY use some rain, irrigation is keeping them berries growing and we are excited for a strong crop developing!
