Just two more shopping weekends to pick up candy for the Beechwood BooFest candy drive! One bag of candy from you goes a long way toward helping our neighbors in our 55+ community participate in the annual fun of seeing our kids all dressed up and passing out candy Halloween night. (There are soooo many kids!)

The joy of Halloween shines equally in the faces of our kids and the residents of Beechwood! I’m not sure who has more fun! Let’s keep that joy flowing without the worry of candy costs to those on a fixed income. The Bread Girl and The Beechwood Social Club will take care of the rest!!

👻 BEECHWOOD BOOFEST IS ALREADY SNEAKING UP! 🎃

The residents of Beechwood and the kids of Killingworth want to give a massive shoutout and THANK YOU to the Nunzianto family for their incredibly generous first donation to kick off this year’s Candy Drive! 🍫🍬

Every year, Beechwood BooFest sets up a magical hot chocolate and cookie station for all the little ghosts and goblins trick-or-treating through the neighborhood—and we need your help to stock up on oodles of candy to take some of the burden off of our Beechwood 55+ neighbors.

🎃 Help Keep a Wonderful Halloween Tradition Alive for Killingworth Seniors & Kids! 👻

Every year, 200 to 250 excited kids flood Killingworth’s Beechwood community for safe, fun trick-or-treating. That equals a staggering 4,500 pieces of candy handed out across 300 units!

For our generous 55+ residents—many on fixed incomes—the skyrocketing cost of candy puts a major dent in their budgets. Others just can’t afford to participate in this wonderful tradition without YOU!

They love seeing the kids, but they need our help to keep this tradition going strong for its 4th consecutive year.

It was a beautiful September day for our 6th appearance at the Parmelee Farm Artisan Market yesterday and so many of you showed up, said hello and bought baked goods. Another reminder of the wonderful community we have chosen to call home! Thank you.

As promised, our summer hiatus is at an end and the call of our loyal customers beckons. We’ll be back up and running this week with a few changes.

For the foreseeable future, we’ll be open for pickup only a few days a week (to be determined weekly) with a more manageable menu. We’ll announce our available days early in the week. Ordering will remain the same - 35 to 48 hour preorder is required for all baked goods! Sourdough baking requires significant time for proper fermentation!! Occasional pop-up breads and treats will be available in the bread shed for drop by pickup - watch for those on both our website and pages!

As always, special occasion orders are welcome.

We’re looking forward to a great baking season and a chance to reconnect with all of you!

After a wonderful summer off filled with lots of sunshine, music, good food and great friends, it’s back to the kitchen for a week of solid prep and baking just in time for the Artisan Market at Parmelee Farm.

We’ll be situated in our usual space with your old favorites and some new delights. Be along the first to try our new Philadelphia style soft pretzels - if you liked the ballpark one, we think these are even better.

Come early for the best selection… and a wonderful day of local craftspeople and community.

As we enter August, we savor these last few weeks of our summer vacation before …. You guessed it, prep time starts once more for the Parmelee Farm Artisan Market.

We’re working on some new offerings this year but we need YOUR help! What items do you want to see at market? What flavors are you looking forward to? Are you interested in summer fruit, fall flavors, or a little of both? Hand pies or full sized pies? Cardamom, cinnamon or both? Philadelphia style pretzels or ballpark? Bagels?
