BROTworkshop I am a Bread Enthusiast who grew up in Germany, where Sourdough bread is a daily staple. The lack of good bread in the US turned me into a bread baker.

I bake for my community and lead workshops for those who like to learn the craft themselves.

Meet “The Brick”. You could likely build a house with these. They stack nicely. But they also taste nicely. This one was a test bake at and we pushed it to a 2 kilo loaf. 100% stone ground organic whole rye flour, full of sourdough flavor and tasty cranberries. 🇩🇪

The “Gassenhauer” , a classic German Mischbrot = Mixed Flour Bread . Made from 50% organic stone milled light and dark rye and 50% organic wheat. A Rye Sourdough mixed with a wheat poolish makes for an extra soft crumb and crispy crust. 🇩🇪
