I woke up this morning to the sweetest surprise — we officially hit 1,500 followers! 🎉💙

When I set a goal of reaching 2,000 followers by New Year's Eve, I wasn't sure how quickly we'd get there, but thanks to all of YOU, we're well on our way!

💐🐾 A cake as unique as their love story. 🐾💐

This sweet wedding cake was inspired by a field of wildflowers and two very important guests—the couple's beloved dachshunds. 💙

This single-tier cake was created exclusively for the bride and groom and stood proudly at the top of the grand staircase, perfectly positioned above their sweetheart table. The soft floral design paired perfectly with the historic charm of the venue.

And if you look closely, you'll spot one of my favorite details—a tiny heart dug into the top of the cake, symbolizing the special place these pups hold in their hearts. 🐶💕🐶

It's always an honor to create desserts that tell a story, and this one was full of love from top to bottom.

We kept it simple today and enjoyed lunch at the library park. Sometimes, the best picnics don't require much planning—just good food, fresh air, and a little time together. 💙

A special thank you to Antonina's for the delicious cupcake add-on! We absolutely love having their cupcakes on hand for an easy dessert when I don't feel like baking my own. 😅

🌧 Rainy Wisconsin days call for cozy clothes, cuddles with the kiddos, and something sweet baking in the kitchen.

We had 2 overripe bananas that needed a purpose. Since we weren't feeling our usual banana bread, cake, or muffins, we decided to turn them into brownies instead!

One half is topped with caramel and flaky sea salt, while the other is loaded with gluten-free Oreos and marshmallow fluff. 🤤

Now for the important question... do we eat them as-is, or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top? 🍨😄

Over the weekend, we took a trip to Old World Wisconsin, and one of my favorite parts is always exploring the historic kitchens. I love seeing how people cooked generations ago and discovering recipes that have been passed down through time.

This visit, we spent some time in the Polish house and found recipes for potato pancakes and dumplings. They both sound absolutely delicious, and I'm going to see if they can convert to gluten free.

I also informed my son that this summer he's going to be learning how to cook with me. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 Whether he likes it or not, it's time to learn some kitchen skills and family recipes!
