This birthday red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting was to celebrate a friend’s birthday and an almond cake with almond buttercream frosting for the spouse. The almond cake was a “Just Because” cake for the friend and yes that’s what they asked me to say on the cake for them! They were both 6” cakes and just enough to share. 😉 Hope they enjoyed their birthday cake and “just because” cake too! 🎉🎂
