Just a little glimpse of why I've been quiet to this page lately is we've been getting our house leveled now for a few weeks. I really can't do much as far as baking because my house is a hot mess. With it raining so much the workers can't do much when it gets flooded so it's taking a bit longer to finish. One of the chalanes is a girl and her birthday is today so we went and got a few items last night to make her a basket and I stayed up making her a cake. I'm so admired when I see women doing work that is typically male dominant to me son unas chingonas 💪🏻 and I love extending my appreciation 💞💕

Definitely could have used way more chocolate chips in this co**ha but I didn't want to overdo it since I've never added anything before and was not sure of the outcome but the parts that had it and the pecans was so good! Took my co**ha to another level as far as taste goes😊 Way better than a chocolate chip with pecan cookie imo. Can't wait to try the novias which those I added some toasted coconut along with the chocolate chips and pecans

Got home from work and went to do a quick little round on my garden 🤗 everything is looking pretty good so far. I am so happy with my avacado tree it by far has been the most challenging tree I've had to care for and I've had at least 3 die in the past for just not having the knowledge to care for them. You can't always go by the label when it says full or even part sun. Just one day of it getting a little extra sunlight it got scorched so now it stays in a shady area with just some dappled light and it seems to love that because she is thriving!!

I have officially started a new hobby! What started off with just some tomato and pepper plants has blown up into my raised garden bed obsession 🤯 I saw this cute idea in a real and decided I needed an arched trellis asap. So far I have some cucumbers, black diamond watermelons and melons growing for the trellis. Different varieties of tomatoes, jalapeno,habanero,serrano, bell peppers, banana peppers onions,garlic, carrots,radishes, thyme and a whole bunch of butter crunch lettuce in my raised garden bed. Hopefully soon I'll have some grapefruit and my lemons. I've already used some of the leaf lettuce to make some lettuce wrap tacos and I think tonight some burgers. All I need now is a couple of chickens and a cow lol.

F.Y.I: All baking has been paused for a bit. With these storms we have been having they really messed up our roof and are currently getting that taken care of so no more orders til further notice.

Made some sweet potato 🍠 empanadas for us to enjoy here at the house! Love me some crispy edges 😋
