Today I got an early start so I can get some sourdough and sweet rolls completed before my workday begins! Today is my late shift day, so I have some extra time to get it all done.

This weekend, Steve and I talked about how blessed we have been, and I want to pass along some of those blessings. Baking is my passion project, and while I’m not always consistent with when I bake, it’s truly about community for me. I don’t really knead (pun intended!) the money so much as replacing my supplies and having a dollar or two for a treat now and then. I have a great day job with people I love working with that affords me a good life, thank the Lord.

We love our home church at Cowboy Fellowship, and although we give regularly, I want to do even more. Steve and I agreed that moving forward, I will be donating 25% of all gross sales to Cowboy Fellowship. That’s not 25% of my profit, that is 25% of every single dollar brought in!

Relaunching in our new hometown has been such a joyful experience already. I am honestly gushing over how welcoming everyone has been with my very first batch of orders! Seeing your excitement to try my bakes means the absolute world to me (and shoutout to the sweet neighbors who grabbed the last-minute extra treats so fast!).
