This was another cake that tested my fish making skills! This time it was a baby rainbow trout on a fishing line. I really like making these even though I don’t fish. I don’t even like to eat them.😳 I never thought baking would include so many!🤪

Happy Birthday to a little race car fan! This black and white cake hid a bright and cheery strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream and sliced strawberries between the layers. Strawberry cake has become the most asked for flavor for children’s birthdays this year. Start your engine, Birthday Boy, and have a great year!

This was an interesting cake request! A graduate wanted a celebration cake with a “burn out” theme. His mom and I designed the cake to incorporate all the elements needed (truck, school seal, colors, etc) including the tire tracks of a graduate moving on, screaming out on 2 wheels and leaving school behind. Congrats on your graduation!

This quiet unassuming looking cake is packed with a powerful punch! Espresso powder in the chocolate cake, coffee in the frosting, it will keep you going for days! My first mushroom cake! I have wanted to have a reason to do one of these for the longest time! The supports were the most interesting and made for an anxiety producing delivery. 😅The cake and royal icing cookies all made it in one piece for a sweet baby’s first birthday.
