We are looking for a couple new people to join our expanding bake team!

The dream candidates has love, care and curiosity for food, is available early mornings and Saturdays, enjoys staying busy, and has a positive attitude!

The position involves production of pastries, filling prep, doughs, and more. In addition, daily cleaning, including dishes, sweeping/ mopping, restocking ingredients etc, are part of the position. it’s all part of the day to day life here.

Kitchen experience is plus, but not required. Home baking experience is great!

Part time and full time positions are both available!

have you ever had the hankering for a good coffee + pastry on a Monday, made your way over to Gylden, and we were closed?! shouldn’t a coffee shop be open on Mondays of all days?!

well, we have a few good reasons we keep our doors shut until Tuesday:

✨we need a day to catch up from the weekend! Saturdays are our busiest day of the week, and we need some time to build our inventory
✨what do we need time to prep? pastries! almost all of our pastries take a minimum of two days to make! If we opened Mondays, we wouldn’t have anything for ya. that wouldn’t be very bake house of us
✨work/life balance! we are a small staff that are here most days we are open, and we believe that our staff are people that need a break! Gylden is closed in Sundays, we catch up on prep on Mondays, so that leaves Tuesday to be the perfect start for our week!
