We are officially recruiting volunteer Heart to Heart Grant Readers to play a vital role in directing critical funding to groundbreaking clinical research and community care. This year, we are especially excited about the opportunity to expand our grant process and invite more Alpha Phi alumnae to bring their unique professional perspectives to the selection table.

While our team of Clinical Readers work in areas such Clinical Research & Medicine, Cardiovascular Sciences, Healthcare & Allied Health, and Academic Medicine, our Community team is expanding! This year, we are specifically looking to recruit Community Readers with expertise in new target industries, including:

- Public/Community Health
- Social Work
- Patient Outreach
- Nonprofit Leadership

Whether your background is bedside clinical care or community-based advocacy, your experience can help shape the future of women's cardiovascular health.

Happy Founders Day, Alpha Phi! 🌿✨

Today, we proudly celebrate 154 years of sisterhood! On October 10, 1872, our ten visionary Founders came together at Syracuse University with the bold belief that women supporting women could truly change the world.

As we reflect on 154 years of history - and celebrate Alpha Phi Foundation’s own 70th anniversary year - we are reminded that the high ideals set by our Founders remain at the very heart of everything we do today:

🏛️ Heritage: Preserving our rich history, archives, and traditions so future generations can honor the courageous women who paved the way.
🎓 Scholarship: Fueling academic excellence and easing financial burdens so high-achieving sisters can step into their power as leaders.
❤️ Heart Health: Funding groundbreaking cardiovascular research and life-saving community education through our Heart to Heart Grants.
✨ Leadership & Wellness: Empowering collegiate and alumnae members across North America to lead with courage, resilience, and empathy.
🌸 Sisters in Need: Offering a compassionate safety net through our Forget Me Not Grants, ensuring no sister walks through life’s hardest seasons alone.

From 1872 to 1956, the year the Foundation was established, and into the future, our mission lives on through the everyday moments where sisters show up for one another.

We’re launching the Ivy Impact Team, a digital ambassador program for alumnae who want to help amplify our philanthropic work and make a real impact online!
