“Hearty portions of simply prepared, good-tasting food”
For 30 years the Brother Juniper’s restaurants fulfilled that motto and offered a warm setting for good fellowship and conversation, for celebrations and everyday business deals.

Although the last one in Indianapolis closed several years ago, it appears annually in association with the Talbot Street Art Fair, giving a taste of nostalgia to local arts patrons and the opportunity for one and all to taste a Happy Hermit, an Avocado, Swiss & Sprouts or most of the other traditional ”BJ’s” menu items.

Come to Joy Church (16th near Delaware) on Saturday, June 21st, from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Enter from 16th street to dine in air conditioned comfort, look in at the church and visit St. Seraphim’s Bookstore.

Inside the church hall Brother Juniper’s Café will offer its signature “Happy Hermit” and other sandwiches, steps away from its original restaurant location which opened in 1978.

Brother Juniper’s is lovingly hosted by the parish of Joy of All Who Sorrow Orthodox Church. Bring a friend and enjoy the day events!

👉 Begin the fair with a sandwich or soup and return at the end of the beautiful Talbot Street walk with some St. Brigid’s cookies. 😉
