One of my favorite parts of living this dream is the people I get to think about while I’m in the kitchen.

No matter what I’m making, from cheesecakes to lunch specials to fruit salad, there’s usually a certain friend or customer who comes to mind. Not because I think they might love it, but because I already know they do. Sometimes they’re the reason a flavor was created in the first place. Sometimes they’re the reason I keep making it and bringing it back into the rotation.

Our Chocolate Chip Cheesecake is one of those. Vanilla cheesecake filled with mini chocolate chips on a chocolate cookie crust, inspired by someone who has supported me as a customer and, more importantly, has been a phenomenal friend.

So to the person who inspired this cheesecake, thank you for being such a wonderful friend. And to all of our regulars who walk through our doors week after week, have favorites you look forward to, try the new things I dream up, and continue supporting this dream, thank you.

Getting to know the people I bake and cook for, and having you in mind when I step into the kitchen, is one of the things that makes living this dream so special ❤️

Y’all completely wiped us OUT of Chicken Salad yesterday, but we’re restocked and ready for round two! 🙌

Our Chicken Salad is back in the cooler, available piled onto a croissant or by itself with crackers.

And since a few of you have asked lately… no, you’re not imagining things. 😂 If your Chicken Salad or Pimento Cheese container has seemed a little heavier over the last month or so, it is!

We got some new scoops in stock and quietly bumped up the amount you get in each serving. The best part? We didn’t bump up the price with it.

A little more Chicken Salad. A little more Pimento Cheese. Same price. We figured that was an announcement worth finally making ❤️

Sweet, salty, creamy... Salted Caramel Cheesecake knows exactly what it’s doing.

We start with our classic vanilla cheesecake on a graham cracker crust, then absolutely drench it in caramel and finish it with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

That little hit of salt against all that caramel is what takes it from good to go ahead and get me a slice 😂

Hey friends! A tiny favor from your currently VERY quiet baker.

As you can see, I have completely lost my voice. And because timing is impeccable, I’m flying solo at Cupkate’s today until 3:00.

If you need to place an order, check on something, or have a question, PLEASE message the Cupkate’s page or text Kate instead of calling the bakery.

I will answer the phone if you call, but there’s a very real possibility you’ll spend the entire conversation saying “What?” while I aggressively whisper at you 😂

Otherwise, everything is business as usual! I can bake, make lunch, ring you up, and apparently communicate via handwritten signs. I just can’t talk.

Turkey Club Croissant is on Wednesday’s menu!

We’re piling turkey, crispy bacon, spring mix, Duke’s mayo + avocado onto a buttery croissant for a sandwich that does not skimp on the good stuff.

It’s our take on a classic turkey club, just with a little Cupkate’s upgrade. And yes, the avocado absolutely belongs there.
