While Houston sleeps, our ovens are already on. 🌙

Every croissant is laminated by hand. Every dough is mixed right here. The bread in your lunch sandwich came out of the oven around 4 AM.

No shortcuts and no mass-production machines. Just the way Chef Patrice learned it in France.

🍫✨ Behind the Scenes at French Gourmet Bakery!

A little chocolate, a lot of love, and the magic touch of our baker Juan! 👨‍🍳❤️

Watch as Juan whips up our delicious chocolate mousse by hand! It’s all in the little details, the technique, and the extra care that make our mousse so perfectly light, fluffy, and oh-so-decadent! 🤎

Made from scratch, just the way we’ve been doing it since 1973!

Huge thanks to Chyna Blackmon and the team at the for stopping by Westheimer and sharing our story! 🥐✨

Chef Patrice Ramain left a family of bakers in France, landed in Houston, and shortly after opened French Gourmet Bakery with his wife Mary, back in 1973🥐

More than 50 years later we are still on Westheimer, still baking everything by hand, and Lauren is the fifth generation to do it.

If you just found us, welcome to the family. Come say bonjour this week.
