As the school year starts again, we wanted to address a couple of common questions.

❓WHEN DO YOU SELL/RUN OUT OF CUPCAKES?

It varies.
We don’t make the same amount everyday and we are still guessing. We truly don’t know who will buy what and when.
Our in-store inventory is shared with the following customers: walk-ins, same-day phone, and delivery apps.
We always encourage pre-orders which we accept with less than 24 hours notice sometimes. , but we’ll do it. We offer lots of ways to pre-order:

We don’t limit in-store purchases so if someone needs all our cupcakes at 9:30am, we will sell them all we got.

❓DON’T YOU REBAKE THROUGHOUT THE DAY?

No, because our staff is busy prepping, mixing and doing other things and sometimes if we make more, by the time it’s ready, no one is left to buy it. Been there, done that.

Our business “strategy” has evolved and changed over the years to fit our budgets and resources available to us.
We are grateful to our customers who understand this and adapt with us.🧡💚

YES!!! You heard that right 😏 Mango Sticky Rice 🥭🍚 is now back and apart of our daily lineup!

Taking away Lilikoi was a hard decision but we wanted to make sure its new replacement flavor wouldn’t disappoint you guys! So we hope you’re happy for this one 😆

Mango Sticky Rice will be available starting TODAY both in-stores and for pre-orders online! We can’t wait to see you soon 😉

Hi All,

As Summer winds down and we make the turn into August, we wanted to let you know that we will NOT be at Made In Hawaii this year.

This decision was hard at first to make but in the end, we are at peace with the decision for two reasons: One, Quality of products.

We all know Made In Hawaii is attended by thousands of people. To plan for an event like this takes an enormous amount of guessing and work.

We are most known for our cupcakes and these are a highly perishable product due to the non-use of oils in our batter which shortens the shelf life and often does dry out faster thane@ a box cupcake mix. After doing Made In Hawaii for the last 3 years, we found our products suffer from such mass production. In turn, our customers do not get a quality product.

Secondly, the Made In Hawaii festival’s mission was to platform up and coming small local businesses and giving them a venue to showcase who they are and what they make locally, many with no storefronts of their own.

We hope that our nonparticipation this year, frees up a space for an up and coming small business.

We have a storefront that is open 6 days a week. Our resources are prioritized for this and we are grateful Hokulani ‘s customers have helped us to grow and sustain this location thus far.

Now it’s someone else’s turn.
