The inside of this cake was just as unique as the outside, chocolate with cinnamon buttercream, red velevet with cream cheese and strawberry marble with fresh strawberry filling! Maybe I shouldn't have had a glass of wine while making a cake!....JK!🍷😂 This is such a fun and delicious way to celebrate your 23rd birthday, strawberry cake with lemon curd and of course we had to support one of our wonderful local Hermann wineries! I will say, this was a bit of mind bender, carefully piping a cake only to "spill wine" down the side🤔....but wine not?!😉

Celebrated someone very special this weekend...my mom, Little Bay Cakes baker, and one of the best people I am blessed to know! She is the backbone of this business, the way she cares about all of you and your special events, she encourages me constantly, especially when you all send your ideas and I am unsure if I can pull it off, she is always confident and makes me feel that way too. The one style of cake she has always asked for is a palette knife floral style and of course, I just had to make it for her! It was a perfect weekend and I thank God for what he has done and I praise him that he chose her to be mine. I love you mom! Happy Birthday!!🥳🎉🥰

A historic church in Hermann heard the vows, a winery in the heart of Hermann watched them celebrate and two people in love leave our little town as one. What a beautiful event to be a part of.💕 This 3 tiered cake was a classic, vanilla almond cake, now the cupcakes are another story...chocolate with German coconut filling, pumpkin with espresso buttercream, vanilla with lemon curd, & chocolate with chocolate ganache...what a delicious spread! The flowers by Terraflora Weddings were stunning and such a gorgeous addition to the cake! Congratulations and may the path you walk together always lead you home.

So this is love....🎼💕 We had an absolutely enchanting time at the Hermann Hill Wedding Showcase last Sunday, chatting with the most lovely couples about their special days and sharing some of our favorite cake combinations..vanilla almond, chocolate & vanilla marble, pumpkin, espresso, cookie dough...deliciously delectable! For this showcase, I wanted to give every bride her Cinderella wedding cake moment and I so enjoyed creating these unique designs, the fondant bow, Victorian style tiered cake, oh be still my heart! Thank you so much to the Hermann Hill Weddings staff for their wonderful hospitality and putting together another fabulous show!

All because two people fell in love💕 A day you'll never forget in a life you'll spend making a million unforgettable moments. I just love seeing a couples personality burst forth onto a cake and this one really takes the cake!😉 The purple, pinks and golds just have my heart and it was such a joy creating this for such a special day! I am always fascinated to hear the stories of why designs and styles are chosen, and this grooms cake has quite the story...the bride surprised her groom with this cake (check it out in the comments!) it is the Manx flag from the Isle of Man, the grooms great great grandfather was the first official cartographer of the Isle of Man. This cake was to cherish their history and honor his heritage...what an incredible legacy.❤️

A perfect Summer day, the lake as your backdrop and two people so in love and ready to say I Do. A perfect wedding day is all in the details and possibly my most favorite detail here is the fondant bow that matched the brides dress🎀 More than a bow, "A cord of three strands is not easily broken" may the knot you tied on that special day be the foundation that your lives stand firm.❤️
