Fuel Availability Update — Cape Cod

As recovery continues across the region, we know many residents are still dealing with power outages, travel challenges, and the need to safely refuel vehicles and generators.

To help residents plan and reduce unnecessary travel, Barnstable County is maintaining a running list of gas stations reporting fuel availability, diesel, and hours across Cape Cod.

This information is being shared as part of the region’s coordinated storm response to support safe travel, access to essential services, and community recovery.

Availability may change as deliveries continue. Please fuel only when needed and be patient with station staff as supply stabilizes.

Winter Storm Update | February 25, 2026, 10:00 AM

Good morning, Barnstable. We are now into day two of post-storm emergency response, and today’s task remains the same, opening up secondary roads across Town.

📌 Reminders: an open road is a passable road. It will, in most cases, remain snow-covered, narrow, and residents should expect hard pack conditions within neighborhoods. Additional cleanup efforts will not begin until all roads are open and safely passable.

🌲 Downed trees and power lines continue to present major challenges. The Department of Public Works is working closely with Eversource and together are prioritizing efforts where roads remain impassable. Once wires are removed, DPW can resume snow removal efforts in these impacted areas.
