I’m not sure there will ever be words big enough for what yesterday meant to me.
To every single customer, friend, family member, former & current employee, neighbor, and supporter who came out to celebrate our final day open — THANK YOU from the very bottom of my heart. 🩷🍪
To look outside and see a line out the door and wrapped around the block for hours on end was something I will never forget. Thousands of cookies sold. Cocktails and mocktails poured. Endless giveaways handed out. Hugs, tears, laughter and stories — and SO much love packed into my LITTLE cookie shop.🍪
Since announcing that Downtown Cookies®️ would be closing, the love and support I’ve felt over these last few weeks has been overwhelming. And somehow, you saved even MORE of it for our final day.
Yesterday wasn’t just about selling the last cookies. It was about soaking in every last moment of something that has been such a huge part of my life. Watching you walk through those doors one more time, hearing what Downtown Cookies®️ has meant to you and getting the chance to say goodbye — it reminded me just how special it became.
You gave Downtown Cookies the send-off I could only have dreamed of. My heart is completely full and my feet are completely exhausted.
Thank you for showing up yesterday and over the years. Most of all, thank you for loving Downtown Cookies®️ as much as I did.
We were SO good till the very last crumb. 🍪💗 I’m forever a little sweeter because of all of you. Thank you, Downtown Haddonfield. What a damn ride… now, onto full-time motherhood. 🍪💗
