An important update from The Covered Cauldron 💜

Due to health limitations, we have made the difficult decision to permanently discontinue our cinnamon rolls and all other baked goods.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who ordered, visited the Cauldron Cupboard, shared our posts, and supported our little homestead bakery. You helped make this chapter something truly special—and, in one final bittersweet twist, today’s cinnamon rolls completely sold out! Apparently, they decided to go out on top. 💜

But The Covered Cauldron is NOT closing. We’re transforming into an online mercantile filled with estate treasures, vintage and collectible finds, clothing, handmade creations, curiosities, and all kinds of cool stuff.

You can already find us on eBay, Vinted, and Facebook Marketplace, and we’ll be sharing more products as we continue building our online shop. We’re also planning special yard-sale events for Labor Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend, so stay tuned!

Thank you for supporting our bakery chapter. We hope you’ll join us for what comes next.

Is it an old superstition? Absolutely.

Does The Covered Cauldron recommend taking chances with your monthly supply of good fortune? Absolutely not. 😂🧙‍♀️

So say the words, greet the new month, and may August bring full cauldrons, happy familiars, unexpected treasures, and just the right amount of mischief. 🖤

George and I celebrated our anniversary this month.

Twelve years married.
Fifteen years together.
Twenty-one years as best friends. 🖤

I cannot explain what exists between us, and neither can he. It feels older than this lifetime—like something written in the stars before either of us arrived here. Maybe our souls met beneath another moon. Maybe some ancient thread has always tied his energy to mine. Whatever it is, we recognized each other.

There was no spell to cast and no magic to force. Our souls simply knew the shape of one another.

We just vibe.

Marry the person you cannot live without. Marry the person who visits you in your dreams. Marry the person whose energy feels like home. Marry the person who loves you exactly as you are—and continues loving you through every single way you grow and evolve.

I have reinvented myself more times than I can count. Every time I decide to take a completely new road, build something different, chase another wild idea, or become a new version of myself, George is right there. He never tries to hold me back or make me smaller. He supports me, encourages me, and somehow recognizes me in every form I take.

He helps me in a thousand little ways that may not look enormous on their own, but together they add up to everything. He is my safe place, my partner in chaos, my biggest supporter, and the steady hand beside mine as we turn that chaos into magic.

I adore him. I love him with my whole life.

My wish for the universe is that everyone gets to experience the kind of love George and I have—the kind that defies explanation but never creates doubt. The kind that feels like friendship, home, safety, laughter, loyalty, and powerful old magic all at once.

Happy anniversary to the love of my life. After 21 years, I would still choose you every single time—in this lifetime, beneath every moon, and in every life that might come after.

George and Melinda: often imitated, impossible to duplicate. 🖤

Check out what these folks are doing over in Milan! I can attest for how good their food is… so it only goes without saying how delicious these rugs are. And to say that one of the owners has been a lifelong friend, gives me the confidence to know how good her product is.

The first three flavors are Original, Hard Maple and Hot Rod. We’ve got 7 additional flavors coming soon but are test driving the signature three for now.

Hard Maple includes local Maple Sugar by Muddy Boots Maple. Sooo yummy!

Buy them because they are funny, use them because you love them. The original blend won 3rd place on ribs against several area restaurants at Wing Zilla several years ago. We’ve been busy creating these additional flavors since before there was a Legacy Acres!!
