Hey friends, the senior business students at PSU are helping me with my business and asked if all of you could help with some research. If you could please take the time to fill out the short survey it would really help! The link is below. Thanks for participating it really means a lot!

We are conducting a survey as part of a class project at Portland State University to understand the consumption of pan dulce, a traditional Mexican sweet bread. It’s that time again… Rosca time!
➡️ January 6th is when we celebrate Día de los Reyes Magos (3 kings ie, 3 wise men day) we do this by getting together with friends and/or family to cut the rosca de reyes (kings wreath). So what are these roscas? Traditional Roscas are round sweet bread wreaths with a hint of orange that are topped with sugar, sweet cookie toppings and candied dried fruit. Additionally they contain a few small plastic babies that represent baby Jesus all throughout the bread.
Tradition has it that if you’re the lucky person who finds that special surprise it your piece then it’s up to you to provide the tamales for el Día de Candelaria which is celebrated February 2nd.
It’s a fun tradition celebrated by many.
As awesome as the traditional rosca is and we know many of us pick off the fruit and eat the sweet stuff so we got a little fancy and made a variation to the traditional rosca by offering one that is all sweet ( traditional rosca bread with chocolate chips and vanilla and chocolate topping)
➡️ we are taking pre-orders this week until Friday the 5th!
➡️ Pick up on Saturday, January 6th

In case y’all missed it… last Tuesday we were blessed to take part in pitch Latino and won the grand prize! We’re super grateful with the Latino founders and all the other wonderful Latino owned businesses that participated at the pitch, which we know are doing great things and will continue to do even better. We’re happy to say that we’ve made many new friends and partners thanks to pitch Latino and we can’t wait for what’s to come. Asi que a hecharle ganas because we ain’t stopping anytime soon.
