Seven years cancer free. I’m still here, still growing, still becoming. This diagnosis was aggressive and the early years were intense, but it was never a death sentence. With time, the risk drops and the research keeps moving.

Around this time eight years ago, I had my breast biopsy. I’ve shared a lot about my cancer over the years, but this year I want to talk about the things I wish I had known going into it. The parts people don’t really talk about, and the ones I wasn’t prepared for.
