Fans of Simple Kneads can find several of our old favorites at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market this morning. Ciabatta, focaccia, rustic farm bread, and Christmas Stollen! At the Piedmont International Bakery table.

It appears that some folks are confusing this page with another business with a similar name. Simple Kneads is closed. This page will become active again if and when I get a chance to return to making authentic artisan breads.

Dear friends:
I have joined Ollies bakery, the oldest artisan bakery in the Triad and one of the inspirations for Simple Kneads. I am excited to finally be back on the bench and in front of the ovens making breads the old-fashioned way, with care, time, and great ingredients. Please support us by visiting the bakery at 300 South Marshall St. in Winston-Salem or our Greensboro branch at 1420 Westover Terrace. All efforts to re-open Simple Kneads in the short term have failed. Long term, maybe. The good news is that I am now applying my talents to the rest of the food spectrum, as a cook at Greensboro's most creative and delicious restaurant, Table 16. Come visit!
