I just got home from First Friday… and my heart is full 💚

So many new faces. So many regulars.
And so many people who showed up just to give me a hug while I keep walking this grief journey… and still showing up for my little business.

Y’all almost wiped me out again 😳🔥
5 pounds of candied bacon… almost gone.
I came home with ONE container.

I’ll be popping up May 2nd from 11AM–3PM for their anniversary event, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of something so special.

It takes big hearts to build something that brings a community together like this… and Diamond Cannabis does exactly that.

I just want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thank you to Diamond Cannabis for the opportunity to be part of their 4/20 Candyland Block Party (on 4/19).

It takes big hearts to bring a community together the way they do… and you can feel that the moment you step into their space. The energy, the people, the support—it’s something special.

I’m beyond grateful to be included and to have a place to show up, share what I love, and continue growing my little pop-up bakery.

And wow… you all showed UP.

Most of the menu was nearly wiped out by the end of the event
and the love, support, and excitement from everyone meant more than I can even put into words.

The community is definitely making one thing clear…
they want more candied bacon 😂

But truly—this was about more than just sales.

It was about connection.
Support.
People showing up for each other.

So thank you to Diamond Cannabis for creating a space where that can happen… and thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and showed love.

While I’m taking a moment to celebrate my birthday with my family (who came in from out of town 🥹), my girl Tiffany is holding it down for me at the booth.

As many of you know, our family is facing the heartbreaking loss of Jace. We are coming together to both honor his life in the way he wished and to pursue accountability surrounding the circumstances of his passing.

We are currently asking for donations toward two important efforts:

First, we are organizing a private surfer send-off at Jalama for close family and friends in accordance with Jace’s after-life wishes. The family camping trip will take place September 21st (Monday) through September 25th (Friday), with the surfer send-off ceremony happening on his birthday, September 23rd. This gathering is deeply meaningful to us, and donations will help cover travel, camping, and necessary arrangements so our family can be present and properly celebrate his life.

Second, we are seeking justice for Jace in his wrongful death. Contributions will help support attorney fees and the professional support team needed to hold those responsible accountable.

Any donation — no matter the size — is truly appreciated. If you’re not able to give, sharing this post helps extend our reach and means just as much. Thank you for your support, your kindness, and for helping us continue to honor Jace’s life and memory.🐢💚🪽

In addition, we will be accepting donations to help support Vegi in honoring her son, Jace, with a surfer burial and continue the pursuit of Justice for Jace.
