FROM A DREAM TO A STOREFRONT… AND THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING ❤️

Last September, I walked away from my part-time job.

The next month, I started selling cheesecakes.

At the time, I had no idea where this journey would lead. I just knew God was calling me to take a step of faith.

Within 6 months, our cheesecake business had grown enough that my husband was able to cut back from his full-time job to only working 3 days a week.

A few months later, he was only working one day a week.

And now, for the last 2 months, he has been working alongside me in our bakery full-time.

What started as a dream became a business.
What started as a business became a storefront.
What started with faith became a life we never imagined.

This wasn’t luck.
This wasn’t perfect timing.
This wasn’t because we had everything figured out.

This was God.

There were sacrifices, long nights, fear, doubt, setbacks, and plenty of moments when we didn’t know how it would all work out. But God continued to open doors that we could never have opened ourselves.

Over the coming weeks, we’re going to share our story.

My childhood.
My husband’s childhood.
How we met.
The good, the bad, and the hard parts of marriage.
Our faith journey.
The struggles we faced.
And how God used every piece of it to bring us where we are today.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this:

God can do more with your obedience than you can do with your own plans.

Before there was a storefront, before there were lines for cheesecake, and before thousands of cheesecakes were made…

I was just a woman trying to figure out what came next.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had ideas, always dreamed of owning my own successful business, and always believed I was meant for more. I just didn’t know what that “more” would look like.

I’m a wife, a mom, and a nanny.

I’ve worked jobs I didn’t love. I’ve spent time in the corporate world feeling like just another number. I’ve worried about money, questioned myself, and wondered if the day would ever come when my entrepreneurial dreams would become something substantial.

There were seasons when I felt stuck.

But God was working in places I couldn’t see.

Looking back now, I can see that every setback, every disappointment, and every closed door was preparing me for something greater.

The truth is, La Crème Cheesecakes didn’t start with cheesecake.

It started with a woman who has always been passionate about building something of her own and who always believed God had a purpose for her life—even when she couldn’t see it.

If you’d like to follow along as we share the raw truth—the good, the bad, and the ugly—of both mine and my husband’s lives, you’re in the right place.

We come from very different backgrounds and have walked very different paths. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing it all: our childhoods, our struggles, our victories, how we met, the ups and downs of marriage, building a business together, our faith, and the lessons we’ve learned along the way.

This isn’t just the story of La Crème Cheesecakes.

It’s the story of two imperfect people, God’s grace, and the journey that brought us here.
