I so missed featuring a special loaf every month over the spring and summer months while I had to limit my menu….
I know this new kitchen space will open doors for my business but it was definitely hard to scale back to get here. I am excited to get creative for y’all again!
There’s plenty of sourdough around, so the specialty inclusions are what I look forward to mixing up the most!

I have some sweet news:
You have been waiting months for these breakfast breads to come back on the weekly menu and now they are available again!

With the kids back in school (yes, all 3 of them!) and the extra kitchen space I feel like I’m ready to bake these up regularly once more.
Rotating flavors will be introduced seasonally and they should also be making an appearance at markets, but make sure you subscribe to the app alerts to get exactly what you want before I sell out!

*While these are still sourdough they do contain eggs, butter and sugar- but never yeast!

If you have ever wondered what contributes to the variation in color between the mermaid loaves it’s due to a few factors in the initial process- I mix each batch differently!
One natural powder gets dissolved in the water, one sprinkled in with the first set of stretch and folds and the other added during shaping. This all contributes to a subtle or even drastic base color in the dough and swirl pattern throughout each loaf.
