I was honored to bake for Sue and Dale Hewitt this weekend to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! They chose to recreate the top tier of their wedding cake along with chocolate, funfetti, lemon, snickers, and grasshopper cupcakes. Congrats Sue and Dale! 🥂❤️

I had a great time at the Taste of Fredericksburg cake war last night. Thank you for all the love! I took 2nd place! 🥈💕 My spice cake with cinnamon buttercream was a 3-tier carved cake, no fondant. I used wafer paper leaves and shredded wheat for the hay. Also a special shout out to Kenny Morgan for all the help with setup and cleanup. I know he'd rather be fishing 😊

I’m happy to brag a little that my State Fair of Virginia results are in! I took a total of 7 ribbons, (2 blue and 5 red) 🥇🥇🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈🥳

I also took 2nd place in the grilled cheese competition 🥈

For those of you who have seen my competitive side, you know I’m a little disappointed… but overall it was a good year. ❤️
