If you didn't know, this week is Teacher Appreciation week!

As a former middle school teacher, I know how tough a job it is to teach over 100 kids a day, keep them engaged, make sure they learn and grow not only in your subject but as people too. Then there is all the behind the scene stuff... meetings, planning, grading, test prep, parent conferences, IEP meetings just to name a few!

One of my customers ordered these two notebooks hearts for her kids to give to their teachers. I love that she shared what they wrote with me. This notebook cookie is the perfect way to let the kids express their feelings towards their teachers for all the love, support and knowledge that they impart on a daily basis.

If you know any teachers, please make sure they know that they are appreciated, not just this week, but all the other weeks too!!!

Love is on tap for Meghan and Matt!

The bridal shower was held recently at a local brewery so I was asked to create a set of cookies that included pinks, florals but also beer!

Hi! How are you? Did you have a lovely holiday season?

I had a busy one. I became a homeowner in December so spent a lot of the time between then and now moving in, unpacking, figuring out where things go now, as well as closing down the apartment before my lease is up!! Needless to say, cookies were not on my mind recently - except for this set that I had to make for my closing day!!

However, I am pretty much set up now and my calendar is officially open for orders!!! If you have an event coming up that you would like cookies for, please feel free to reach out via my website (link in bio). Oh and you don't even need an event!!! I can even make you a set of basic shapes with icing (no designs) that you can have to munch on when you want a cookie!!! Thank you to those who have already checked in and got on the calendar.

I am hoping to do a few offerings for Valentine's day this year so I will keep you posted about that. For now, let me know in the comments what your favourite thing about the holiday season was.

Happy heavenly birthday mum. It's been a long weekend for me but I'm glad I was able to finally find my box of photos and unpack them so that I could see your face. It's been so weird not being able to call you today.

The girlie and I are so thankful for places like Jellybean Rescue !

Tara along with her family and volunteers have a wonderful Rescue looking after so many kitties!! We went to visit this afternoon. We dropped off our pumpkins for the farm animals and then spent some time with some adorable little fluff balls.

From the little kittens to the big lap warmers, all they want is a forever home and a family to love them.
