I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely Spring weekend! The Downtown Frederick Wedding Walk is happening on Sunday, April 26th. Did you know the cookie table tradition at weddings originally started in Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Eastern Ohio during the Great Depression as a way for family members to contribute desserts. Today weddings in these parts of the country are not complete without a cookie table. Include this unique tradition at your wedding! Come visit me during the Downtown Frederick Wedding Walk at Steinhardt Brewing to see pictures of what your cookie table could look like! With 26 varieties of cupcakes, 25 varieties of cookies and cutting cakes, my wedding packages will make your day extra special! I hope to see you at Steinhardt Brewing! I will have information packets on the wedding packages I offer and several flavors of cake and cookies to sample.
