I cannot believe we are 6 months into the year already! With that being said, there are a lot of new faces on this page over the past few months, and I wanted to introduce myself, and say a quick hi to those who have been with me for a while 🥰
My name is Grace, and I am the owner and baker for Not Your Basic Batch. I am a mom to 4 amazing kids, a military spouse, and I am going to school for my Bachelor's in Nursing.
I started this business 3.5 years ago at Fort Benning, GA, and have been operating here at JBER for about 2 years.
In those 3.5 years, I have worked very hard to remain unique in what I offer, while taking great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of my desserts. I offer a range of sweets, including cookies, cookie cakes, and dessert cups, with signature flavors including OG Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Cream Pie, Banana Pudding, Dirt Cup, Biscoff Mousse, and Squeeze the Day.
I hold weekly porch sales, and always post the evening prior to a sale. Custom orders are accepted, and my messages are always open ♡
Without going into detail, and because several followers/customers have recently reached out asking my thoughts on the topic, all I will say is that while imitation may be the best form of flattery, originality and creativity are what makes a business unique. There is room for everyone in the baking community! But individuality is so important. I truly love what I do and put a lot of thought and love into building my menu, building my brand, and creating my products (as cheesy as that sounds).
