I had the absolute honor of creating a birthday cake for an incredible girl and fellow cake decorating enthusiast for the third year in a row! When it comes to Ava, my mentality is always go big or go home—so I went all out with the ultimate pastel sweet-tooth dream.

Pastel buttercream stripes loaded with a melting ice cream cone drip, giant swirl lollipop, rock candy, macarons, mini chocolate bars, and gummy bears. 🍭✨

When a teacher-turned-librarian has meant this much to your family, you bake her a cake!!!

Ms. Howe was my husband and sister-in-law's favorite and most meaningful elementary school teacher — and then, years later, our own children were blessed to have her as their librarian. Two generations of our family shaped by one incredible woman. We are so grateful.
