Did you know National Donut Day isn’t just a holiday invented by foodies? It actually has a pretty heroic history! 🍩✨

​Back in 1938, the Salvation Army started the tradition in Chicago to honor the "Donut Lassies" of World War I. These brave women traveled straight to the front lines in France to hand-deliver fresh, hot donuts and coffee to soldiers, bringing a tiny taste of home to the battlefields. Cooking in helmets and makeshift pans, they sparked a massive love for donuts that followed the troops back home to the States.

​Today, we’re keeping that spirit of comfort and community alive. Swing by the shop, grab your favorite flavor, and taste a bit of history!
