Hope everyone had a happy Halloween 🎃 Just wanted to give you all an update, as I don’t know when my next bake day will be at this point. My day didn’t quite go as planned yesterday. Unfortunately, I ended the day in the hospital with an emergency c-section at 31 weeks pregnant due to a placental abruption. Baby girl is doing well, but will likely be in the NICU until (or close to) her due date (Jan 1). Fortunately when the bleeding started yesterday, all of my baking was already done, and my husband was able to help finish packaging and set it out on the porch for you. Sorry if it seemed a little more chaotic out there than usual! Thank you to all who have reached out and offered your thoughts and prayers 🤍🤍

I didn’t realize how full my October is until I sat down to plan out my baking schedule 😅 between fall break, vacation plans, and school field trips, I’ll only be able to bake the last half of October. BUT I promise I’ll make it worth the wait 🙌🏻 and how perfect that Halloween falls on a Friday this year!! Let me know if there’s something specific you’re hoping will be available on my Halloween menu! 🎃👻

Some of yesterday’s yummy bakes! 🤍 We’ll be celebrating my son’s 3rd birthday next weekend 🥳 so I won’t be baking then—but pumpkin bread will be making its big debut on my next bake day! 🎃🍂 I can’t wait for you to try it!! 🙌🏻

September Baking Schedule 🍂

Fall has me so excited to bake again! This pregnancy had me in a bit of a baking slump, but I’ve got so many new treats I’ll be adding to my menu throughout the month—can’t wait for you to try them! 🤍🧡🤎

Did you know I mix and prepare all my sourdough loaves by hand? There’s about 20 pounds of dough in each of these bins… it makes for a very good arm exercise 💪🏼😆 so this morning when I found that a loaf (or 8 🥲) had over-proofed because one of my fridges was left cracked open overnight, I was a bit upset (it was our garage drink fridge, so no other food was harmed lol). So while I would love to post some pretty baking pictures and tell you it was another great bake day, it truly was not 🙃😂 but I managed to make it through the rest of the day and ended with lots of other successful, yummy bakes 🍞🥖🍪

Thank you so much to those of you that I reached out to for being willing to let me re-bake your loaf another day!! 🤍🤍

I’m taking next week off for Labor Day weekend, but I’ll have my September baking schedule up soon!! And I’ll be adding a few new additions to the menu throughout the month 🙌🏻
