Wedding dessert tables can include the fun stuff, too. 🤍

These dipped crispy rice treats got the same white chocolate drizzle and pearl details as the more traditional wedding sweets, which let something playful fit right into an elegant display.

That's one of my favorite tricks when designing dessert tables: change the dessert, but repeat colors and details so everything still feels cohesive.

Sometimes the dimensions of a wedding cake are just as interesting as the decoration.

Instead of traditional stacked round tiers, this cake was created as one dramatically long rectangular cake and finished with vintage-inspired Lambeth piping, delicate green details and lots of white-on-white texture and pearls.

It's one of those designs that proves a wedding cake doesn't have to follow the traditional tiered format to make an impact.

One of my favorite things about custom cookies is being able to repeat the same little details—flowers, greenery, gold and the engagement ring—across different shapes so the whole box feels coordinated.

I love baby shower cookie sets because even within one color palette, there are so many ways to make every cookie different. The blue gingham onesies may be my favorite in this box…but that little bottle is a close second.

ONE very big fishing bobber. 🎣🎂

I love getting cake requests based on cute themes because they make the finished cake so personal. For this first birthday, the traditional red-and-white fishing bobber became the entire cake—with a little buttercream “water” around the bottom to finish it off.

By the time I take this picture, the baking, filling, decorating, packaging, organizing and double-checking are finished…and now comes the part where I drive like there is a priceless piece of artwork in the back of my car.

Because basically, there is. 😂

*This was a styrofoam dummy cake decorated with real frosting for a venue open house. When I make these long table runner cakes for an actual wedding I box them up and assemble at the venue!*

Wedding cake delivery days can be equal parts exciting and nerve-racking, but seeing everything safely set up at the venue never gets old.

One whole year with this special little girl! 🎈🎂

Bright colors, balloons, birthday candles, sprinkles and plenty of personality for this first birthday cookie set. I especially loved getting to work her age into the design so the cookies felt completely made for her celebration.

Custom cookies are such a fun way to carry a party theme all the way down to the smallest details.

A wedding cake doesn’t have to do all the work. 🤍

For couples who want their guests to have choices, a dessert table can turn the cake display into an entire experience. This one included cake pops, chocolate-covered pretzels, sandwich cookies, mini pretzels, decorated cookies and more—all coordinated in an elegant white-and-pearl palette.

And yes, there were gluten-free treats included too.

One of my favorite parts of creating dessert tables is making everything feel like it belongs together without making every dessert exactly the same.

Yes, this is cake. 🥟

This may be one of my favorite food-illusion cakes I’ve made! The entire presentation was designed to look like a restaurant plate of fried gyoza, complete with dipping sauce, scallions and even an edible serving plate.

I love the moment when a cake makes you look twice and wonder, “Wait…is that actually cake?”
