Gene told me today he had the Brussel Sprout soup last week and it was so good, he had to have another bowl, and he had to bring some home too! I have it prepped for tomorrow as well as 16 Bean and Ham Soup!

Our parking may be limited tomorrow. It is being repaved. So please, utilize off street parking on Lincoln or Vine if you can’t find a spot in our lot. Thank you!

Split pea and ham soup tomorrow. I’ll make more brussel sprout soup if I have time because it was sooo good!

We also have banana cake with vanilla bean frosting, blueberry rhubarb butter cake, carrot cake, zucchini muffins, and gluten free brownies.

Amanda and I are ready to welcome you in the morning!

East Dane Prairie Gardens just delivered fresh brussel spouts and carrots. So, I have to make this soup tomorrow!

We also have had quite a bit of interest in blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes (they are sooo good), pair with a couple thick slices of bacon or our delicious sausage.

Tomorrow we will be offering Lentil Soup, the Root Veggie Bowl, and the Beet sandwich. Planning another soup as well if we have time!

The soups tomorrow are stuffed pepper soup and chunky zucchini soup.

We are still getting local, farm fresh, zucchini, peppers, kale, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, cilantro, parsley, basil, and squash from Dave Lindig and East Dane Prairie Gardens.

Year round we offer local products like organic grass fed/finished beef, wild rice harvested from Otter Tail county by Paul Schol, bread from Falls Baking Company, eggs from Lavonne and Julie, maple syrup from Jake’s syrups and so much more.

Being able to name the people our food comes from makes me so happy.
