🍓 Strawberry season is here! 🍓

Thanks to a wonderful friend and her strawberry patch, I have a whole lot of fresh-picked berries. That means I’ll be spending some time in the kitchen baking up a few strawberry treats for the farm stand this weekend!

There’s just something special about baking with berries picked at their peak—sweet, juicy, and full of summer flavor.🍓❤️

Every great sourdough loaf begins long before the dough is mixed.

Each Tuesday, I start building up my sourdough starter, feeding it and carefully monitoring its activity so it’s strong, healthy, and ready for Thursday’s dough day. By the time it’s bubbling over like this, I know it’s prepared to do what it does best—create beautiful sourdough with incredible flavor, texture, and rise.

Good sourdough can’t be rushed. It takes time, patience, and a thriving starter.

🥖✨ The secret ingredient isn’t a secret at all. It’s all in the starter.

Unfortunately, cinnamon rolls won’t be making an appearance this week, but I have something delicious to fill their spot!

Fresh homemade coffee cake will be available at the farm stand for the first time this weekend. Soft, buttery, and topped with a sweet crumb topping, it’s the perfect companion to your morning coffee.
