A special cake for a special young man! 🎂💚 I made this funfetti cake as a raffle prize for Tanner LaMagna’s benefit, and I had no idea funfetti was his favorite cake flavor - Such a sweet coincidence!

Tanner's mom texted me saying Tanner wanted to win the cake but he felt it would look bad if they did it at his own benefit. She asked me if I could make him another, which obviously I said yes, too.

Want to hear the greatest part of this? The kind soul who won the cake gifted it to Tanner last night! And this cake alone brought in over $300!

Tanner sustained a spinal cord injury in a BMX racing accident in July 2025. Since then, he’s been working hard in therapy, learning new ways to do the things he loves, and moving forward with the support of his family and community.

I worked with Tanner’s Aunt Emily at RIT and was so happy to make this cake for his benefit. It means a lot to play a small part in supporting Tanner and his family. 💚
