As August comes to a close tomorrow, I wanted to share this birthday cake I made for my own 30th birthday on August 15th ✨ Though the event was a surprise party, my husband gave me just enough detail so I could create this whimsical “midsummer twilight” cake perfect for the enchanting party he had planned 🌌💜
This was a dark chocolate cake with mixed berry jam filling, and vanilla bean buttercream topped with fresh berries. 🎂
