I created Sweet Bakey Cakes in 2015 as a home bakery in Texas - mainly for a hobby (hence the photos taken in a residential kitchen). The company's creation was as a result of a love and passion for baking sweet treats. I have many years of experience baking everything from cookies and cakes to pies and cheesecakes. Our Story

My name is Jodie and I created Sweet Bakey Cakes from a love and passion for baking. I have about 16 years of experience in baking everything from cookies and cakes to pies and other pastries. As I have honed my craft, I found my specialty in cream puffs. They are my favorite item to bake (mostly because making pate-a-choux and pastry cream is so much fun)! I also have a talent for cakes and cupcakes. My primary goal is to provide delicious, personalized treats that will make you smile. To accomplish this, only high quality ingredients are used and each product is created with care, from scratch. Because I operate Sweet Bakey Cakes as a home bakery under the Cottage Food Law in San Angelo, TX, it is not regulated by the Health Department. However, please rest assured that I maintain a very sanitary and safe kitchen and I maintain a Texas Food Handler Certificate through ServSafe. While I primarily serve the San Angelo area, delivery arrangements may be made to surrounding areas upon request.
