Did you know there isn’t a box mix hiding behind Bake Shack? 👀

Muffins, brownies, bars, quick breads — they all start with the basics: butter, eggs, flour, sugar, fruit, chocolate and a whole lot of measuring. 🧈🥚🫐🍫

I use real ingredients because you can taste the difference — that rich, fresh, homemade flavor just isn’t the same as something made in a factory. 😋

It definitely takes longer, but from scratch is always better.

If it’s going in the Bake Shack cooler, I want it to taste homemade — because it actually is. 💛

Did you know Bake Shack isn’t my full-time job?

During the week, I work a regular full-time job.

And baking is only part of what goes into Bake Shack. Wednesday and Thursday nights are usually spent prepping and getting everything ready, Friday nights are for baking—often pretty late—and Saturday mornings start early with packaging, labeling, and stocking the coolers.

It’s a lot of hours, but baking and the Bake Shack are truly passions of mine. I love creating something from scratch and then seeing it all come together in the coolers each weekend.

Saturday shoppers did some serious damage to the coolers—in the best way! 😄

Walnut Brownies are SOLD OUT, and the last Caramel Pecan Roll is trying very hard not to look nervous.
