Apparently there’s a glitch causing Facebook to automatically send messages to some of my new followers.

So if you followed my page and immediately got a message from me like an overly enthusiastic salesperson who has been waiting for you all day… I promise, it wasn’t me. 😂

There’s currently no way for me to shut it off or fix it, and believe me — I hate it too. I would be SO annoyed if I followed a business and they immediately slid into my DMs. 😬

For all of the new faces here, I thought I’d do a quick introduction! ❤️

I’m Steph, an RN who never exactly planned on becoming a baker. 😂 After a back injury turned my life upside down and took me away from nursing, I found myself needing something that still gave me a sense of purpose. We have apple trees in our backyard, so one fall I started baking with ALLLL those apples. 🍎 Apple bread turned into pies, pies turned into people asking for more, and somehow Sweets by Nurse Steph was born!

But this definitely isn’t a one-woman operation. My husband, Chad, is the owner, official taste tester, heavy lifter, apple picker, problem solver, and usually the dreamer behind my crazy ideas. 😂❤️ He believed in this little business enough to build me a kitchen designed around my physical limitations so I could keep doing something I love.

What started with a bunch of backyard apples has grown into something neither of us expected, and seeing so many new people here lately is pretty amazing.

So we figured there was no better way to welcome you than by giving away the treat that started it all — one of our Apple Crumble Pies! 🥧🍎

So hi, welcome, and good luck!! ❤️
