Let’s talk about what it took to make this cookie…
What may look simple and easy to you is actually a lot of steps for me!
First thing, I had to have all the icing colors made. Next, I put a generous amount of icing of each color at the top of the cookie. Then, I had to scrape it downward and refill the patches as necessary. Once that dried a little bit, I mixed up some gold luster dust, which is never an easy feat (IYKYK!!!) and used a paintbrush to splatter it on. Finally, I could outline the castle and the entire cookie’s edges, and then flooded the white icing in.
That’s the thing about cookie art, until you’re doing it yourself, you truly have no idea how time consuming it is!
But, I love the effect and I love making my clients happy so you can catch me doing fifty-leven steps again and again 😂😍🥰
Happy Monday!! And don’t forget, life is short, eat the cookies 🍪❤️
