As of yesterday, The Squatch has officially served its last meal.
It's hard to put into words what we're feeling today.
This little family restaurant became so much more than a place to grab breakfast or lunch. It became a place where strangers became regulars, regulars became friends, and countless memories were made. We've celebrated birthdays, watched families grow, met visitors from all over the country, and shared thousands of cups of coffee, biscuits, sandwiches, laughs, and stories. ❤️
To every single person who supported us—whether you visited once or once a week—thank you. Every order, every kind word, every Facebook share, every recommendation, and every review helped keep our family dream alive. We never took that support for granted. 🫶
Many of you know this wasn't a decision we wanted to make. Life sometimes changes your plans, and after a lot of thought, we knew it was time to close this chapter and focus on what's best for our family.
Yesterday, as we locked the doors for the final time, we looked around and remembered where it all started. We remembered the excitement, the long days, the challenges, the victories, and the amazing community that surrounded us through it all.
Thank you for letting us be part of your mornings, your vacations, your traditions, and your lives.
We'll always be grateful.
With love,
Nicolas, Amanda & The Squatch Family 🫶👣
