💚 I do not even know where to start…all I can currently say is:
“Woah.”
I cannot believe how many of you have come by to support our little family farm stand.
After staying up past midnight preparing everything and then waking up at 4:00 a.m. to finish the remaining work, we still weren’t ready. Printed labels got mixed up, prices were being handwritten because we ran out of time, our banner, Open flag, and yard signs still aren’t up…and yet, you all were lined up at 9:00 a.m.
As my husband and I frantically ran back and forth between the house and the stand trying to get everything set out, every single person we met showed us nothing but patience and kindness. Complete strangers encouraged us, smiled at us, and waited while we figured things out.
You have no idea what that meant to us.
I truly did not expect this turnout. I also learned one very important lesson…
I DID NOT MAKE ENOUGH BREAD. 😂🍞
Thirteen loaves of fresh bread were gone by 10:00 a.m.
I’m just now getting a chance to sit down and make this post at 11:16 a.m. because that’s how busy the morning has been.
With that being said…
Next weekend is going to look tremendously different.
Today, in just a few short hours, I learned more than I could have learned in months of planning. We’ll have more bread, more baked goods, better organization, more signs, and we’ll be ready for all of you.
Most importantly, though, today reminded me why we started this in the first place. We wanted to share the blessings from our garden and our kitchen with our community, and today you all blessed us instead.
From the bottom of our hearts— Thank you.. 🌿🤍
With that being said…we’re still OPEN! ❤️
We may have sold out of our bread for today, but we still have plenty of homegrown and homemade goodies available. This photo shows exactly what we currently have left as of this post, so if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, we’d love to see you!
