First, we need to say this: choosing one couple was incredibly hard.
We read every single submission. We read stories of love, struggle, perseverance, families, second chances, and people who have walked through things that no one should ever have to walk through.
We cried. More than once.
And we genuinely wished we could give every single couple a wedding.
But one story stayed with us.
Meet Paige & Ruben. ❤️
Their love story didn't start with some grand romantic moment.
It started with friendship.
It started with two people who understood what it meant to experience unimaginable loss—and who somehow found each other on the other side of it.
In 2021, Ruben unexpectedly lost the mother of his children and found himself navigating life as a single father.
Less than a year later, Paige tragically lost her fiancé and the father of her son in a motorcycle accident.
And somewhere in the middle of grief, parenting, healing, and simply trying to keep moving forward... Ruben was there.
He checked on her. He encouraged her. He understood the things that didn't need words.
Eventually, he convinced her to go on a date.
And apparently that date worked out pretty damn well. ❤️
Today, Paige and Ruben are building a life together and blending their families into one beautifully chaotic home filled with kids, laughter, healing, love, and second chances.
One part of Paige's letter stopped us in our tracks:
“Our children have watched us heal. They’ve seen that even after devastating loss, love can find you again.”
And THAT is what this giveaway is about.
Not forgetting what came before.
Not replacing the people who were loved and lost.
But showing their children and maybe reminding the rest of us that after life changes everything, there can still be joy. There can still be new chapters. And there can still be love.
