What a morning!!
Thank you to our beautiful friend who gifted us her bouquet of flowers from farm, they were a perfect addition to our usual floral arrangements I quickly put together from our garden as we head out the door to markets. The summer mix today is spectacular 👌...

🍪🥐🍓 ** Take two**

I've been busy prepping and am apprehensively filling the coolers once again. Starter is in beast mode and these hand laminated Sourdough Chocolate Croissants will be beautified before the sun rises on Saturday morning and then twice baked along with all our other pastries.

🔦 OUTAGE UPDATE:
I have come to accept that I will definitely NOT be baking today. And we will not be able to sell anything at the farmers market tomorrow.
The loss of time-product- beautifully proofed loaves, Bagels, Focaccia, Brioche, Croissants, Danishes, Cookies & so much more have to be discarded at this point.
Thank you those who offered your coolers&ovens- there was just too much product to transfer and I was really clinging on to a fine line of hope.
⚡️ Mothernature wanted me to take a break this weekend😅 unfortunately a costly one.
However on a good note- i have the pleasure of spending this 3 day weekend away from the kitchen and be completely with my family🥰.
We spent the morning strolling the neighbourhood, checking out the damages and chitchatting, enjoyed great coffee and smoothies at Steelyard, had fun at Weston Park and now, heading downtown to enjoy the Rhapsody Fest!

🌟Have I been peeking into my fridges? heck yes*
🌟Have I been looking at my phone for updates from our neighbors if power came back and jumping on any alerts? heck yes*
🌟Do I wish we had a generator? Absolutely*

BUT..guess what, it's okay😇 I have to let it go, accept my fate and hopefully be back in action soon enough to see you at next weekends Farmers Market with fresh bakes.
