We recently received a counterfeit $20 bill at our cookie stand. We genuinely believe this may have been an honest mistake, and we’d love the opportunity to get it cleared up privately.

At the time, a young woman and a man made a cash purchase. If this may have been you, please send us a DM so we can resolve the situation without any further steps being necessary.

If you paid with cash recently, please check your wallet to see if you may have accidentally been given a movie prop bill or “motion picture use only” bill as change somewhere else. These bills can sometimes look very convincing at first glance and occasionally end up in circulation by mistake.

We would hate to have to have to remove cash as a payment option for our customers because of this incident.

If it was simply an accidental mix-up, we completely understand—please reach out and let’s get it taken care of.
