We’re still trying to settle the great muffin vs. cupcake debate… 👀🧁

Someone recently asked me why I chose the name Little Bee Baking Company… and I realized it was time to finally share the story!

What started out as a hobby, quickly turned into a business idea. When it came time to choose a name, we started tossing around every idea we could think of. Some had special meaning, some were simply cute, but I was trying to find the one that felt just right.

Then someone said, “Little Bee.”

The more we thought about it, the more it just seemed to fit. I’m always buzzing from one thing to the next, especially in the kitchen, so the name already felt fitting. Add in my love for flowers, the color yellow, and dancing, and it somehow made even more sense… especially once I learned that bees dance too! It felt cheerful, busy, and full of personality, and as soon as we said it out loud, it stuck.

And just like that, with help from some wonderful friends, Little Bee Baking Company was born. 🐝✨

Swipe to see my original hand-drawn logo idea and the finished logo it eventually became. It’s so fun to look back and see how this little idea came to life. 💛
