Originally, I planned to try a specialty bread from each stop and rate them for you, but that didn’t quite work out. Instead, I decided to make a video compilation of all the food in general. This isn’t even all our meals, just what I managed to capture on camera. Since there were many complimentary restaurants on board, we only snacked off the ship. One day, I’d love to return to Italy, France, Spain, Gibraltar, and Portugal to truly experience the food! Thank you, to my mom, for making this trip possible 💕

This week’s sourdough bakes using new techniques I’ve learned. I started using less brown rice flour to coat the surface, and more steam, to develop that nice and coveted crispy crust. Each time I bake, I try to incorporate a new skill. Sometimes they work out, and sometimes they don’t! But overall, it’s such a fun process 😊

Sourdough English Muffins! These are baked on a cast iron skillet and finished off in the oven. Some of these didn’t have the typical “nooks and crannies” that you normally get with English Muffins. But they sure did taste better than commercial ones! Yum 😋

Happy January! 🥶 I am back after a pretty rough December, in terms of hand pain and oven pains! This year, I hope to post more on this page and share my bread journey. Today I think I may have finally found the perfect ratios for the flour in my sourdoughs. It made me so happy to see the oven spring in my loaves. Off to a good start. Let’s hope 2024 will be good to me 😌
